Plans, billing and upgrades

What each plan includes, the Aria daily quota, how to upgrade through Stripe, the founding-member discount, and the downgrade rules.

Updated 15.07.2026

Settings → Billing & plan shows your current plan and lets you move between tiers. Billing is an Org admin capability. Every plan uses the same engine — plans differ in how many systems and members you can have and which features are unlocked.

The plans

There are five self-serve tiers plus a custom Enterprise tier:

FreeStarterCoreGrowthBusinessEnterprise
Monthly€0€59€149€349€699Custom
Annual (per mo)€0€49€119€279€559Custom
AI systems13525UnlimitedUnlimited
Team members1251020Unlimited
Aria questions / day51020100UnlimitedUnlimited
Document generation (Annex IV, FRIA, DoC)
API keys & webhooks
Custom letterhead · IP allow-list
Custom roles (RBAC)
SSO & SCIM

A few things worth calling out:

  • Document generation starts at Core. Starter gives you full classification, role-based obligation mapping, the Kanban board and incident templates — but the generated Annex IV tech docs, FRIA and DoC PDFs begin on Core.
  • API access, webhooks and the GDPR module start at Growth.
  • Custom letterhead and the IP allow-list start at Business.
  • SSO, SCIM and custom roles are Enterprise — talk to us for a quote.

Aria's daily allowance

Ask Aria, the built-in assistant, has a per-day question quota that scales with your tier: Free 5 · Starter 10 · Core 20 · Growth 100 · Business & Enterprise unlimited. When you run out for the day, Aria tells you inline — the counter resets the next day.

Choosing a billing period

Above the plan cards is a three-way toggle:

  1. Monthly — pay per month, cancel anytime.
  2. Annual (save ~2 months) — billed yearly at roughly 20% off the monthly rate (that's why the per-month figure above is lower).
  3. Founding (save 30%) — see below.

The founding discount

Founding members lock in 30% off for life. Keep 30% off every renewal — the same rate whether you pay annually or monthly — for as long as you stay subscribed. The content is identical to the standard tier of the same name; only the price is lower. Founding spots are limited to the first 100 organisations — once they're claimed the option closes.

Upgrading

  1. Open Settings → Billing & plan.
  2. Choose your billing period (Monthly / Annual / Founding).
  3. On the plan you want, click Upgrade.
  4. You're taken to Stripe Checkout — enter payment details and confirm.
  5. On return, your plan and its limits take effect immediately.

Once you have a paid subscription, a Manage or cancel subscription via Stripe → button opens Stripe's customer portal, where you can update your card, download invoices, or cancel. Cancelling ends access at the end of your current billing period — nothing is deleted before then.

Downgrading

Downgrades are allowed only if your current usage fits the smaller plan. If it doesn't, Checkout is blocked and tells you exactly what's over — for example "Can't downgrade to Starter: you have 8 systems, Starter allows 3." Archive the excess systems or remove members first, then downgrade.

What happens at a limit

You never lose data by hitting a cap. When you reach your system or member limit, the app blocks the new action and explains it inline; existing systems, members and documents stay exactly as they are until you upgrade or free up space.
